What can we expect?

I’m not like most other photographers. I try to be in the background, documenting your day. The best feedback I can receive for my clients is, ‘I hardly noticed you’. My goal is obtaining those natural moments rather than to set them up. I want your photos to be something you look back on, to preserve the memories and to show the next generation.

Are all your photos documentary style?

Not entirely. My main focus is observant, documentary photography. I aim to capture 90% of the day naturally as it unfolds. However, I will take family portraits and stunning couple photos. I avoid stiff, awkward posing. Instead, I take you for a relaxed walk (often around sunset) and gently guide you into natural moments, walking together, touching foreheads, or simply standing in beautiful light. Couples consistently tell me these are some of their favourite photos of the day.

Do you work with a second photographer?

I prefer to work solo. A big part of my day is being unobtrusive. A single photographer achieves this better than a team. It also means less distraction for you and your guests on the day. I keep things simple so you can focus on celebrating.

How many photos will I receive?

There’s no fixed number, every wedding is different. For a typical full day package you can expect 700-1000 beautifully edited images. I focus on quality and storytelling rather than hitting a specific count.

When will I receive my images?

You will receive a small selection of images within a week. Your full gallery of edited high-resolution images will be available in a private gallery will be available for download 4-5 weeks after your wedding.

Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding sessions?

Yes. An engagement session is a great way for us to meet, build rapport, and create beautiful images you can use for invitations, social media or thank you cards.

Which areas do you service?

I’m based in Brisbane and primarily photograph weddings from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast. I’m also happy to travel further, just get in touch and we can discuss details and any additional travel fees.

How do I book you?

The easiest way is to send me an email or fill out the contact form to check availability of your date. If I’m available, I can send you everything you need to book. If you have any questions just let me know and we can have a chat. I’ll then send you a contract and request a $2,000 retainer (which comes off your final package price).
